What plant is this?

I have been growing this thinking its a weed. Didn't have the heart to throw it away.

Yesterday my husband suggested it could be Okra(ladies finger). Does anyone have any idea?

Beans in my garden

When I sowed the bean seeds a couple of months back, never thought I'll get any harvest out of it. All the 8 seeds I sowed turned out to be little plants and I thought they'll not survive. But 6 of them survived and now I have my first harvest of beans.

Methi and Tomato

I am going to have my first harvest from my little veggie garden. Tomato's are starting to bear fruit and Fenugreek Plant(Vendiya Keerai) is healthy enough to be harvested.

My tomato plant has started flowering. I am very excited to reap my harvest soon ;)

Mint and Tomato

I am very excited about the mint that is growing in a little pot on my patio. There was also another surprise for me. The weed plant I thought was not worth anything turned out to be the tomato plant. It has started flowering.

I am excited to get my first harvest. I've also planted some methi seeds and they are growing good too. Its always a pleasure to grow your own vegetables.

I'll post the mint rice recipe.
